The ninth Shrimp Festival record-breaking of audience
Over 5,000 people attended Saturday, December 3 at the ninth edition of the Shrimp Festival held at the exhibition hall of Sant Carles de la Rapita. During the day were distributed about 500 kilos of prawns, cooked by fourteen local restaurants and the fishermen. The Festival was opened by the Director General of Fisheries, Miss Mercè Santmartí, and was attended by special guest chef Mr Eduard Xatruch, Principal chef of famous Restaurant el Bulli and a member of the Foundation el Bulli by Ferran Adrià.
Participated in the ninth Festival of shrimp a total of 14 local restaurants and many food producers of the Ebro as Montsià Rice, ST Montsià oils or wines of Terra Alta, members of the Collective Kitchen The Ebro Delta Ràpita.
From 1st until 15th of december, The restaurants offer a especial tasting menus at a price of 38 euros including 8% VAT.
